Pain will play at Hristo Botev Hall on October 31. Sofia is one of the cities planned for their I Am Tour 2023.
Among the tracks the audience in Bulgaria is expected to hear are Shut Your Mouth, Same Old Song, Call Me and their current hit Party in My Head.
„We are happy that Pain’s show with special guest Ensiferum and support bands Eleine and Ryujin is enjoying huge interest in Bulgaria, which is a great compliment to all four bands,“ said CME.
Before Pain, the other musicians who will take the stage are the Japanese metal band from the island of Hokkaido – Ryujin . They are followed by Sweden’s Eleine, Ensiferum.
Peter Teghtren is in Pain, and with him on stage are his son Sebastian Teghtren on drums, Jonathan Olson on bass and Sebastian Svaland on guitar.
Peter Tegtgren is the only one left from the beginning of the band, which emerged in the late 90s. Started as a hobby project, the musicians mix heavy metal with influences from electronic music and techno.
Pain’s self-titled debut was released in 1997, and since then Pain has released six more albums and one DVD.
The band hit the top of the Swedish music charts with singles such as „End of the Line“, „Shut Your Mouth“ and „Same Old Song“.
In 2008, Pain toured as a support act for Finnish band Nightwish.
Pain released their seventh album, You Only Live Twice, on June 3, 2011. Their eighth studio album, Coming Home, was released on September 9, 2016.
