Tom Jones is coming to Bulgaria again, and his concert is on 19 June in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture. Extremely famous in the 1960s, the musician gained worldwide fame for his strong voice and his style of tight trousers and open shirts became easily recognizable.
He is considered one of the greatest singers of all time having sold over 100 million records. He has also won numerous awards. His concert in Bulgaria is part of his world tour Ages and Stages.
The star is known for songs like Sex Bomb, Delilah, Mama Told Me Not to Come, Green, Green Grass of Home, which several generations of music lovers have grown up with. But Tom Jones has also performed a variety of styles – pop, rock, rhythm and blues, country, soul.
Queen Elizabeth II bestowed a knighthood on him in 2006. The singer himself has been among the recipients of the BRIT Awards, the Silver Clef, the Music Industry Trusts award and the Hitmaker award from the US Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Tom Jones has also starred in film productions- such as Tim Burton’s Mars Attacks and Playhouse Presents: King of The Teds for Sky Arts.

He wrote an autobiography, Over The Top And Back, and with the 2021 album Surrounded By Time, became the oldest singer to hold the No. 1 spot in the UK Official Albums Chart with an album of new material, overtaking Bob Dylan.
